Cortison-like action:
Cardiospermum halicacabum extract is valued for its ability to produce a cortisone-like effect without the potential side effects associated with prolonged corticosteroid use. This effect is mainly attributed to the phytosterols found in the flowering tops of the plant.
Anti-inflammatory and Anti-allergic properties:
Due to its cortisone-like action, Cardiospermum halicacabum helps reduce inflammation and allergic skin reactions, relieving symptoms such as redness, itching, irritation and eczema. It works by inhibiting enzymes involved in inflammatory processes.
Cellular Membrane Stabilization:
The active ingredients in Cardiospermum halicacabum help stabilize the skin and mucous membranes, making them less reactive to external stress, which is particularly important in cases of dermatitis.
Soothing and Anti-itching Action: Irritated and itchy skin is relieved by topical application of preparations containing Cardiospermum halicacabum.
